The Chamber of Commerce is proud to present this special
opportunity to hear a presentation by visiting CEO Tom Hirons.
Tom, who has an extensive background in marketing, public
relations and growing a business, will share his expertise with
the Columbus Chamber Members.
The TEN meeting
will be Friday, July13th from 8:00 – 9:30 a.m. at the Visitors
Center.

provides advertising, public relations and interactive services to
top private and public sector accounts in Indiana, including the
Indianapolis Indians, Indiana Office of Tourism Development, The
Villages, Metropolitan Indianapolis Board of REALTORS® (MIBOR) and
the Indianapolis Zoo. Hirons
also provides communications planning
and implementation services to NASA, the U.S. Department of
Transportation, National Park Service, U.S. Department of the
Interior and the U.S. Department of Energy.

About Tom Hirons…
Tom Hirons is an alumnus of Indiana University with his
bachelor's degree in Arts and Sciences and post-graduate studies
in marketing, public and environmental affairs, and journalism.
Tom studied and worked with Philip Ward Burton and credits Mr.
Burton, a pioneer in tracking and predicting advertising
effectiveness, as his mentor.
Tom has motivated his 27-year-old
agency with $34 million in annual capitalized billings to build
partnerships of respect with clients. He holds valued and trusted
positions in industry and academia, including serving on several
boards and at the Indiana University School of Journalism as the
"Riley Professor." In the 1990s, Tom operated two offices in China
working with such high-profile clients as Cummins Engine and IBM.
Tom has two children, Dan and Meghan
who are recent graduates of Indiana University and are working in
video production and new media.
