July 2007 Edition

Bartholomew County Livestock Sale
Saturday, July 14, 2007 at 8:15am
There are several ways to support our local 4-H club in Bartholomew County.  One way is to come to the Livestock Sale Auction on Saturday, July 14th.  The auction is fun, and the kids take great pride in the animals they have raised and are ready to sell.

If you cannot or prefer not to come to the Sale, you still have the opportunity to support the 4-H program and be recognized for your support by becoming a “Friend of 4-H.”  You may do this by making a tax-deductible donation to the Bartholomew County Friend of 4-H Fund.

Your donation along with all other donations to the fund will be combined and used to purchase animals at the 4-H Livestock Sale.  A representative of the 4-H Livestock Sale Committee will act as the bidder for the “Friends of 4-H.”

Friends of 4-H will be recognized by having their name placed on the list of Buyers.  This list will:

1.   Be published in the newspaper along with the names of those who are on-site buyers following the 2007 County Fair.

2.   Appear on the flyer that promotes the 2008 4-H Livestock Sale.

3.   Appear on the 4-H Fair’s website: www.bartholomewcountyfair.com

How to participate – Send Your Donation (there is no maximum, but a $50 minimum is requested to be publicized as a Friend of 4-H) to: Livestock Sale Committee - Jason Schroer – 6900 E 50 N – Columbus IN  47203, or simply sign up the day of the sale.

Please make your check payable to:  4-H Livestock Sale Committee

If you have questions about the Friends of 4-H Program, please contact any of the Sale Committee members.
